Startup Workshop: From Plan To Pitch
Starting your own business is scary. Really scary.
How do you know if your idea is any good? Or if your customers will ever show up? How do you prepare your business plan into a pitch deck to present to your target audience? How do you present your business as a golden opportunity for investors to invest?
Entrepreneurship is not a mythical, illusive creature and it is not a secret that is hidden behind doors. You CAN learn how to become a successful Entrepreneur and you CAN learn how to prepare yourself well.
The Business Model Canvas is an effective strategic management and entrepreneurial tool designed for early-stage or existing companies to design, challenge and develops many aspects of their business. The pitch deck (also known as an investor deck) is the first communication tool used to provide your audience with a quick overview of your business plan and to help you raise money with a potential investor. The content of the pitch deck, along with your presentation (also known as a pitch), can help the investor to determine quickly whether or not to continue evaluating your business opportunity.
In this course, you are going to learn:
1) How to design your idea into a viable business using Business Model Canvas;
2) How to structure your business plan into an effective pitch deck; and
3) How to build a compelling story to invite your investors to invest into your business.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested in becoming an entrepreneur and build a viable startup business.
To help startups to define their business models, pitch decks and pitching, learners of this workshop will get 3 complimentary hours of individualised coaching (Valued at $450) from the guest trainer. The coaching is valid for 3 months from end of workshop.
